American Skullcap 美黄芩
Different from Baikal skullcap — this North American species is used as a nervine for anxiety, insomnia, and nervous tension. Milder and more calming than its Chinese cousin.
Southern Schisandra 南五味子
The southern variety of Schisandra — similar properties but considered slightly weaker. Used in TCM for chronic cough, night sweats, and liver protection. More affordable than northern variety.
Angelica Essential Oil 当归油
The essential oil form of Dong Quai used topically and in aromatherapy. Contains ligustilide and butylidenephthalide. Used for menstrual pain, circulation, and relaxation.
